The ’66 Western-Auto Wizard "Citation" Automatic Washer DVD

See two complete 40 minute "Regular" wash cycles of the 1966 Wizard Automatic, from the very start of fill all the way through the wash tub coasting to a complete stop after the final spin with its primitive Franklin designed transmission. The first episode is a wash-load consisting of mixed casual colored clothes and filmed from the top looking directly down into the washtub. The next episode is a wash-load consisting of towels and a couple of throw rugs filmed from a 45 degree angle looking into the wash tub. You get two completely different perspective views by using two different camera angles. During towel & rug episode (shown from the 45 degree angle) you can really see how much that Franklin transmission indexes the wash tub during agitation. In the first episode looking down into the washtub I included over 15 quick shots of the timer dial incrementing so you can see exactly where the washer is in the cycle. Sort of like what you would see if you were actually standing there watching the machine!

As a special bonus I’ve also included a newly found 1958 Westinghouse Laundromat/Dash Detergent commercial.

The DVD video format is "DVD-R". Please check your DVD player to make sure its supports the DVD-R format, many players do, but there still are some out there that do not support this type of DVD. Most DVD players made 2003 or later will play DVD-R, but once again please do double check your owners manual.

I made enough copies for everyone who sent an email asking me to reserve a copy for them plus I made some extras incase others would still like one. I’m going to do this on a first come-first serve basis, so once they are gone, that’s it.

The DVD is $19.95 + $3.00 for shipping and packaging in the USA or $19.95 (USD) + $5.00 for shipping outside of the USA. Proceeds from the sale of this DVD will go to help offset the ever increasing costs of running this website.
