I saw what appears to be a 24" Kenmore dryer at the little Hispanic flea market in town. It has a full-width hamper door, which takes up just about the entire width of the front. I'm just guessing 24", but the cabinet is definitely narrower than the usual. |

It's probably a 27 inch model. They have the lint filter inside the door, not on the top. I have a 24 inch one and it has the small drum the same size as the portables. It happens to be light brown, not almond or bisque. Unusual color. |

Didnt sear have "toast" or something like that. I guess an, in house color that you had to get "all of em" from sears if you wanted them to match? |

Toast sounds right. I Don't know anything else about it other than the color. |

Toast and Platinum
Toast and Platinum(lite gray) was offered through Sears, GE, and Whirlpool, in about 1984. I don't know if other manufacturers offered these cool colors. They didn't give it much time. Only like 3 years. What a shame |
