Hello I moved from Tampa to Seattle, my apartment has a stack unit based on the old skinny mini design. I am asking managment to pull it out, thinking of buying a full sized LG combo ( I like the older model with the control panel) or the Supra 220volt model. Any feedback would be welcome in helping me decide. |

Phil, it's great to have you back among us. I couldn't find the Supra 220v model on the LG web site (USA), so tell me where the product info would be. Member Peteski50 had the 3677 model delivered June 23, 2004. He's had a prob with it and service repaired it. Also, Peter complains about the spin routine for the final spin, it isn't at all like his old Equator that just ramped up and spun. But the final spin routine seems to be similar to that found in the Hettie and its cousins as well as the LG. Contact Peter via email and let him give you his first-hand experience with the 3677.

LG 3677
Hi I have the LG 3677 that was replaced by LG 2 weeks ago. I do like the machine big capacity compared to the Equator 3600 I previously had. It washes very well and has so many positives. I love the water circulation system. Helps drench the clothes for better washing / rinsing. Their are so many options that I cannot see myself using in a lifetime. The drying is slow as to be expected with a 120 volt combo but it is better than my equator or other combos. because the drum is bigger. It's nice to be able to wash a real large load even though I need to split it to dry. And drying a 11 - 14 pound load is better than other combos.

There was a not so great review on Epinions.com about the Supra machine. It washed well, but there were problems with drying. BTW Bob, the Supra is not an LG product. Compactappliances sells this machine. CLICK HERE TO GO TO foraloysius's LINK |
