Seems like the bearings are the weakest link on these.

Should I even bother to take mine when I move?

It is my opinion that for every Electrolux machine whose bearings fail there are 20 that have been going strong for 10 years. If you don't oversuds your machine and take reasonable care of it and it's working fine, I'd take it. Unless you want to get a new washer and dryer - always a fun thing. :-)
