Here are a couple minutes of the wash cycle.

mrsalvo asked about the rinse time which in the regular cycle is 2 minutes 30 seconds.

Thank you very much for that video. It's great. I simply love the long stroke of the Speed Queen, still the same as the older ones. And the rollover is great too.

Nice vid... different noise though to the commercial Speed Queen's I've used. Very throaty noise during agitation... very soothing too and performed miles better than the coin op Maytag TLs I've used. Though to be fair, the coin op Maytags were set to 4 mins wash time whilst the Speed Queen's spend a good 10 mins washing.

Love that video. Brings back the days of my Amana. Sounds and washes exactly the same. Thanks!

That agitator does a great job at rollover. And at cleaning too. No matter what size load you throw at that washer it would rollover. My Amana sounded like that and it had that same agitator. Flex Vanes at the bottom are not all that big but they move a load coupled with the wavey vanes it sure does move the load well. In mine I had the option of using the agitator cap instead of the softener dispenser with I found the edges kinda sharp and I did cut myself on the edge. So off came the dispenser and on went the cap.

Speed Queen

It is so nice to see a modern top loader without the dual action adj. Seems to turnover the clothes real well.
Best Wishes

Yay for the traditional long, slow agitation stroke! There aren't many new Speed Queens out there so the video is greatly appreciated. Should you get the time, it would be great to see the water throw/spin.

I wondered that myself. Does this SQ do a spin drain? I think i have made up my mind for my next washer...move over WP/KM..it's time for a queen LOL. The surgilatoresque agitator is pretty cool too!

easyspindrier

I was looking at the video again, and it looks like the tub indexes somewhat...am i seeing that right? I didn't lnow these newer SQ washers did that.

The SQ does spin drain. I'll try and video the spin cycle this weekend. The tub is indexing slightly on the video and really indexes with towels or jeans. I'm awaiting the store I purchased them from to locate an authorized servicer. The SQ website has one listed that's in my area, but when I contacted the service company they stated they are not trained to do SQ repair.

Speed Queen Indexing

My Speed Queen washer does not index unless there isn't enough water. I can wash a full load of jeans (size 38) and my tub still does not index.

Worse case scenario, if you need service, contact your local commercial SQ/Huebsch distributor and ask to speak with a service tech. You might could coax one to work on your machine. Also contact any local laundromat that has SQ/Huebsch equipment to see if they have someone that can help you.

I like the classic Speed Queen 'splish-splash' sound when it agitates. Now that you mention it, agiflow, the Surgilator made a very similar sound.

Post# 175041-12/13/2006-01:15 ||| agiflow (nj)

As Peteski mentioned earlier, it is nice to see a non DAA for a change. It's also pretty cool that it has the "undulated" vanes of the classic surgilator...which in my case will probably be the closest i will ever get to one LOL.

I Love washer movies

The steady even stroke of the SQ. Have the exact same thing in my SQ, only with 3 vanes, same sound, same speed, same turnover. Some things can't be improved upon. Thanks
