In a condo development that we are doing, we had to go with ventless dryers, so the developer chose the Ariston stack set with the condensor dryer. Washers all did fine, but four of the five dryers started having problems within the first three months ... loud as hell! We ended up pulling the sets and replacing everything with the LG ventless combo machine, which has been great. Now, we are sitting on these dryers and having trouble getting service; any idea what would be the problem with these dryers? He is planning on just selling the washers at a greatly reduced price and throwing the dryers in for the purchasers to get repaired (they still have warranty coverage). Anyone else had this issue or anything to contribute? Thanks so much! Todd

Re: Hi! Todd & Gary:
Hi! Todd and Gary, did you replace the Ariston {USA} Washers and Dryers, with the larger-capacity LG Combo's, I'm assuming? I certainly hope that you don't have any problems with them, like Peterski had with his. How many Machine Units did you have of the Ariston's and how many LG Combo's are replacing them?

Steve, we have 22 units and have sold 12 thus far. The first five had the Ariston stacks and those were the problematic dryers ... we pulled those and replaced with the smaller LG combo machines and have been using those in the rest of the units. Due to poor space planning, we couldn't go to the larger combo machines. My LG at home is still doing great; it lived through the 2+ feet of floodwater from Katrina. The dryer had to be replaced after the flood.
