Maytag A200 Highlander question

The motor on my A606 quit (open start winding), so I dragged the A200 Highlander home from work and it works well since I changed the pump, but it leaks when it fills. Does the top lift up on these, or does the whole cabinet have to be unscrewed from the bottom?

I plan to use the A200 Highlander while I do a proper overhaul on the A606.

Thanks,
Ken

Remove the chrome trim strip around the top of the machine by turning under one edge at the back with a screw driver. You'll see screws on each side and front of machine holding the top, remove those and you can lift the top up and tip it toward the back of the machine. From there, you'll be able to acess the water inlet system on the left rear corner of the machine.

Good luck- Greg

Thank you!

Sure is fun pulling the chrome off the rusty channel.
Found a loose hose clamp inside, now I'm all set.

Thanks for the help,
Ken
