Used, but looks in pretty good conditon, local pick up only.

maytag is still one of my favs. and that one is a keeper. wish it was closer

Hard to tell by the picture,but that looks like an 06 or 07 model,possibly a 606.I still find them quite regularly,they made a million or so it seems.

It really strikes me as funny, all these people buying older homes and chucking out the "old" appliances for new. If they only knew the vintage Maytag washer or Frigidarie range in most cases will out perform and even perhaps out last the "new" appliances they are buying.

Wouldn't the irony be the seller ditching the older Maytag washer for a Neptune? Can almost hear the older washer saying "you'll be sorry".

Really is too bad so many of these vintage units are so heavy, thus a pain to ship. More than anything else bet this results in so many units not being sold,thus meeting a sad end at the Krusher.

Years ago, before cheap appliances and easy (but high interest) credit, many people would have been glad of a nice cast off washer/dryer. But today sadly many turn their noses up at the chance and would rather by "new".

I feel the same way also.Old Maytag machines just have that "quality" look about them.The porcelain finishes were better then along with general build quality.
