The
I have that very machine in my collection. That is a 1956 Whirlpool Imperial model. It reminds me of a jukebox. It has eight lights in it!

Hi Rick
Thank you too for the Merry Christmas.I was wondering if the timer issue with this machine was fixed?I hope you have been able to use it.What a blast from the past!

timer a-ok !
Pat, the timer was repaired, and I have been using the machine since summer without a problem. It has had a full restoration with all new hoses, bearings, gear lube, shaft, spin tube, clutch, and an added waterfall filter system from a 1957 model. In fact I use it more than any other machine. (appx 3 loads per week)You are correct in calling it a tank. I think it is the heaviest machine I ever had to deal with. Lotsa iron in the ol gal! (:
