Req assist w/ locating Maytag DE50 portable dryer.
Picked up nice A50 washer and having the dryer would be great.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of such machine...lemme know...please & thank you! ! ! !

Hey Al,

My better half is going up north of the Mackinac Bridge this weekend. As it turns out, I remember seeing one of these dryers at a junk shop in town when we were up last Christmas. She knows the guy who owns the shop and says he has junk everywhere. I will have her and my brother-in-law stop and see if it is still there. I was going to buy it when I was last up there, but the truck was full as it was and I didn't have room for it. About all I remember about it was that it was white in colour, was a small apartment size, and was a Maytag. I think the old fud wanted like 20 bucks for it. Does this sound like the machine? I will keep you posted.

YUP, Nice machine. Cleaned up pretty well!!!!
Clock motor in timer was kaput, easy fix, haven't noticed any leaks, didn't mess w/ 'suds-saver'. New tube & starter...gotta love the lighted panel..sooooo kewl to have the lights,(as well as chrome lint filter!!) 806 placed next to '66 BD WP Imperial from GregM..it too has lighted panel...luv the lights ;).
New belts, runs quite well....but then again....this IS a Maytag when they WERE MAYTAGS!!!!!!
Just had local appliance dealer drop off a VERY nice A208!!!:D Had a problem I've never encountered w/ Maytag....broken pump! there again...easy fix...runs like a champ!!
Still have harvest gold A208 w/d, dunno for sure mod of dryer..smaller tub w/ rear mounted lint filter..good ol'e MAYTAG!!! Anyone want em?? Their yours...come get em'.
Picked up a dual-action W/W space mate front loader...cute machine, new boot to fix the leak at the door.
Gonna have to get w/ some of the Hoosier club members, once this miserable winter weather breaks..we'll have a "HOOSIER Wash-In....ya hear me RickR???? git-ready!!!!

Kenny, their yours if ya want them. Couldn't get to my outdoor Christmas decorations in my shed..John Deer, 2 Maytag W/D sets, extra speakers for the Rodgers... Weber grill, patio furniture, asstd. JUNK... I NEED to clear stuff out ! ! ! !
If you have need for the gold Tags' that'd be GREAT!!!!
I'd be happy to let ya have them.
