Hello to all: I was the high bidder on Gansky's 1963 Sears Kenmore automatic on Ebay. Contacted Vintage Transport to have it shipped to California and was quoted the same amount I've previously paid to ship a PAIR of Maytags. Had no reason to believe the shipping cost would have increased so drastically, or I would have called for a quote before bidding on the auction. At any rate, I cannot go through with the shipping even though I've already paid for the washer. If anybody is interested, please e-mail me (ghewett@daklaw.com) and also contact Gansky to let him know as soon as possible. I'm hoping not to lose out on my purchase price, but if I do, I guess I will just consider it a very expensive lesson learned. Thank you and best holiday wishes to all. |

Check with Greg himself, I think there's a certain company he uses/recommends that is fairly reasonable. Worth a try.... |

Try Craters & Frieghters. Maybe they might have a better price. |

Use Beltman Shipping, 800-959-8880. They are the best deal around for shipping that we have found. |
