Maytag?

I believe Crosley is made by Maytag - but am not sure?

Definitely a "Norgetag" type machine.

Crosleys were reintroduced about 10 or 15 years ago here anyways as a bottom of the line brand mostly found in those "don't pay til 2008 furniture stores" or the "rent to own" stores conveniently located between a check cashingstore and a liquor store.
Wasn't it Crosley who introduced the first refrigerator with shelves on the door.. the Shelvador ?

I thought Crosley was a Whirlpool BOL type thingy.

IIRC It is 24 inches wide; another WP clue/"trade-mark."

Crosley has Maytag & WP making laundry. The plastic tub means it's a 'tag. If it were a WP, it would have the name "Crosley Conservator." The nice thing about selling 'em new is the free 10 year extened warranty. EX) 10 year parts & LABOR on washer tranny, 10 years parts only warranty on the dryer motor & heater. Can't beat that for the price.

and yes,

The original Crosley (Avco) made the "Shelvador" refrigerator. Now, it's such an obvious idea.

Thanks for the info

It seems its Definatley a "Norgetag" type of machine mechanics are very similar to maytag the machine is basically serviced from the front....its not 24 " wide and looks nothing like anything ive seen from whirlpool Dont know if Im going to keep it or not...its not too much fun to look at..doesnt light up...or have any features...not sure how well the plastic tubs hold up either..just thought Id buy it because it was cheap..and unusual. The previous owner says it works great ..I'll find out tomorrow..
