Oh great keepers of the Maytag color code references... Can someone answer me this regarding the '06 series?

If LA is light almond, and KA is California Gold, what color is HA?

Inquiring minds want to know : )

Well, I did see a well-loved HA606 in Harvest on Craigslist a few months ago. Perhaps it's another designation?

Harvest Wheat = Gold, changed in mid-70's

Color code

Actually K should be avacodo. H should be harvest and G should be gold. I never could tell the difference between Gold and Harvest, they both looked the same to me.

Unless I'm mistaken, the '06 Maytags weren't offered in Almond. That color was introduced in the late seventies/early eighties. The '07/'08 series was selling by then. The Maytag '06 colors were : Snow White/Cordoba Copper/Spanish Avocado/(something)gold {California?/}.

Well thanks everyone,

I got the set home and they do appear to be a light harvest. Blue panel controls from '73; not sure if they were making the Harvest wheat machines that late but it could pass for such.. Interestingly, my KA107 is a Cali Gold machine (solid no-shade panels). To reaffirm Super32's post, my Avocado 806 dryer is a K DE806.

Won't know the final score until they're in the basement for some side-by-side comparo's.

'Puma- They did in fact make a light almond '06 machine at the end of that run. I found a matched set recently in decent shape and spotted a 606 in that color today. Looks more like a dirty white : )

Now to find the early 806 colors-
