Just picked up a KitchenAid KD2-P. I ran her for the first time Big Blue Wash Arm and all. I was wondering if anyone out there has this machine. I will be posting pics soon. It came with the Owner's Manuel,a Congratulations Card from KitchenAid and it is Mint Condition except for a little mildew around the cover gasket. She runs great except when the pump starts for the wash, it also drains slowly at the same time. With my expierience with more commercial machines (Hobart UM-4) would that be the spring on the drain solenoid or would one think there is junk in the drain valve ?

Yep I have the same machine. My restoration process is documented in photos in the Member's collection area.

Central Brass makes a beautiful portable dishwasher faucet that you can mount on the deck of a sink which would enable you to operate two of them at the same time. The model number is 0282. CLICK HERE TO GO TO Tomturbomatic's LINK |
