Can anyone tell me when KitchenAid started using the 4-arm HydroSweep washarm? Every machine I've seen has used that and I was just wondering if that was a trademark thing they've always done or if it's just been w/in the last 18 years...Thanx!

KD-15 Series was the first

The KD-15 series was the first to use the hydro-sweep four arm wash arm. My KD-14 still has the old cast iron wash arm. The KD-15 series was a major change from the 10-14 series and one of the best for those who don't mind having an upper spray arm.
