COOL!! I'll always love the GE logo (I am still on the hunt for a "REX COLE-GE" sign from the side of a building!!)

It has a start button....does that mean that the dial doesn't pop in and out?

Scott:

That dial is a jog-dial that sets a computer. It is not actually an old-fashioned timer.

The neon indicators at the top show the cycle's progression, the "timer" dial does not move.

Similary it does not pop in & out (off/on).

The "timer" does? Is that on / off?

Lid Switch

We have a similar model GE except with a stainless steel tub. What was that you use to defeat the lid switch?
