Due to some people here looking for lighted console 'Tags I have decided to sell my Maytag 1976 806 set that I got from the original owner last year. (maybe this will help someone end their search!)It would be better for me to concentrate my space and effort on the Norge and another machine. The dryer is gas, BTW. Both come with manuals and are White in color. The price for both ($200)is what I have in them. They are in working condition as well.

WOW.... I would LOVE to have them... but alas.... Michigan is just a teensy bit too far to drive in a U-haul and shipping would be $$$$. :-(

Sorry to hear you are giving them up... but good luck!!!

And that's a very reasonable price.

Likewise, Michigan is a bit of a stretch from California. If you (and they) were in my half of the state, I'd be at your door with cash in hand :-)

That's a beautiful set, and your price is very reasonable Dwight! You should have no trouble finding someone to love them!! Wish I was closer!

Shipping depends on a lot of variables. If you can crate it yourself, and have it picked up at a business dock, so no lifting and packing by the carrier, and have it deliverd to a dock in the destination city, you can do it less than half what it would cost to send someone to a private address, pack and crate the machines, put them on a lift truck and do the reverse to a private residence. A lot of shipping companies will give you a real deal if the appliance is deliverd to a shipping consolidator and then picked up by one in the destination city. You just need friends with trucks and strong backs, and you can save greatly. Home to home delivery is outrageously expensive on big appliances for an individual consumer. Upon bidding of price, see if the seller will pack it and take it to a consolidators dock, even if you have to pay extra up front it is worth it.
