Thanks to Rich, a wonderful person who is so nice, i got 3 vintage dryers (1952 Whirlpool Gas dryer) (195-'s Front located controls Maytag Dryer) & (Mid-50's GE Dryer with lighted controls) and 1 washer, a mid fifties Maytag washer with sudsaver option. I am so excited to unload and play with these machines. Thanks again Rich, you are such a good host and friend, i'd marry you if you werent already in a relationship, hehe. Yay for awesome washer folk, i hope you enjoy the pics on the truck. We took some of the dials off the GE dryer so they wouldnt blow away (Rich, you have such great ideas, i would have totally lost them and cried myself to sleep if it werent for you)

More pic!!!

More pictures to come tomorrow after i unload them into the basement washroom. I'm so excited, finding treasures to restore and bring back to life is such a thrill. It makes me think of all the happy automatic wash's and dries these machines have given their owners. Well, i am gonna try to make them happy in their semi-retirement!!

One of the 7 World Wonders

There never was before, or after, a machine more classic than the Maytag with lighted backsplash. The smaller tub gives a wilder show and I get goosepimply watching the water slosh over the Maytag name on the lint filter. It is even more valuable since we know it was once part of something proud.

Oh my, is that a condensing Maytag dryer there - the 60W? Nice A702S by the way - you'll love it! It was almost top of the line from 1964 through 1965 (under the 902 bushbutton).

That GE dryer ia a rarity. Definitely made between 52 and 55. Can't wait to see more pics. Robert, doesn't the Whirlpool dryer match your 52 washer?
