I've used my Calypso several times. Some things it does well, others not so well. A load of 8 or 9 pairs of jeans (run on the Jeans/Darks cycle, which has slower nutation anyway), it did OK but had trouble bouncing/rolling that large load. It would have done better on Heavy Duty (faster/longer nutation). Interestingly, a pair of underwear ended up stuffed completely inside the front pocket of a pair of jeans, so clearly there is some action happening. Couple weeks ago a friend brought her queen size goose-down comforter, which had been puked-upon by her cats (more than once). After pretreating the stains, I ran it through a couple rinse/drains to get it thoroughly wet/saturated, then ran a Bulky cycle. She was pleased with the results, although I think it could have used another run-through. Last Friday I ran a load of sheets in the Calypso, so I could do shirts/casuals in the F&P at the same time. Dried the sheets in the DE906. They were fine. |

Whats all that inset part of the lid that fits into the opening with a rubber gasket, it must be really splashy. Is it? |

I got my contribution to this thread from the user reviews on eopinions.com. This machine really stuck a chord with some of the users! |

Maybe it's time to videotape some action... and then we can tell our opinions about it... or am I silly now... |
