Not Everything Is About Me

Contrary to popular belief one does not catalouge every single vintage appliance item on eBay. Sorry, if you felt "neglected" in some way. You could always follow the path of other members and advise the group yourself of various and sundry auctions.

no problem

I didn't mean to induce a defensive reaction, it was simply the "obvious" period. Its no problem, I have noticed it amongst myself and some other members for a long time. I do not feel the least bit neglected and just found it ironic. Just my own perception I threw out there. No worries. I just thought it was so nice of you to be "on top" of what was on ebay for everyone in the club.

No Offense, You Know I Love You More Than My Luggage

Until one followed the above link, had no idea you were "Fiftiesfan". Indeed really only know a handful of member's eBay names. IIRC have posted links to items you offered in the past, think it was a Frigidiare washer.

Will say try hard not to post auctions where a member (or at least one thinks/knowns is a member) has bid. Nor really wish to involve myself with member's ongoing auctions. If a member wishes to let the group know he/she has something going on, they are quite able on their own to get the word out.

Your Listing

I've been watching this forum for days, wondering when someone, anyone, would post information about your listing. I'd love to have the In-Sink-Erator diswasher, but can't imagine the hassle and the expense of getting it to Atlanta!

shipping

Shipping is always a major dilemma for many and I have literally gone after many apps on my own. (owning a truck doesn't hurt either). I can't expect to get back 100% of what I paid "TOTALLY" but I always hope to try and recoup some of my costs if I can.

you people are all diseased, I swear

hey, as one of you that does not have a basement or warehouse full, I fully appreciate every heads up most especially in my area. What the heck? Share the wealth a little people! I just want a lighted back set! Or a pair of those ol frog eye kenmores are to die for. I dont need row after row. Just an heir and a spare, so to speak.

I couldn't have said it better, ............... any "heads up" is going to be appreciated by fellow club members period.

frogeye kenmores and the like are quite rare, still...one ca

so it seems.

So are my GM Frigidare 1 18's I guess. My dad bought them for me at an auction years ago and I stubbornly refused offer after offer of a new set. I have always loved them, even though they are avacodo green and repairs cost more than new ones. I just would like a set of frog eyes in the worst way to spell my GM's occasionally or share the load as it were. Anything else that came along my way I would of course post for someone else. I know how it is to need and want but I neither need nor want a wharehouse or basement full. My laundry room is crowded enough! We all have to help each other. :)
