I don't think these are old enough to be "antique"

hoovermatic

Hi, yes, this is a twin-tub washer with pulsator action: the famous Hoovermatic - THE best known twinnie in the UK and even in Germany, 30 years ago. A semi-automatic machine. Very fast though. 1-4 minutes per load. And rinsing takes place in the spinner (spin-rinse). Suds can be used 2-4 times (4-6 pounds a load). Very nice machine, especially as this one is modified for the American market and slightly differs to the european ones.

I don't think these are old enough to be "antique&q

since this board doesn't have an edit function, they shall have to remain "antique" or "antuque" as my typo states.

They are rare, to be certain.

Would you prefer vintage?

Call them what you will.

Thank you for the background info Lederstiefel1. I had never seen one before, and I am vintage at the very least!
