would be in my imaginary collection (like anything from the early 80s).

As Calvin Harris is saying at the moment most definately 'Acceptable in the 80s' (am listening to it as i type this - catchy tune! - I digress).

This A3260 has been on ebay before - externally looks great - £50 quid for 1983 vintage is asking a lot though.

Hope it goes to a good home!

Hi Richard

It is a lovely machine but couldn't justify the cost of the machine plus courier to pick it up. Also I am only going to have the 3060 as my vintage "Hoover" machine. The Logic is slowly dying .Its needs too much work doing to it and now the module is going as it has no idea what spin speed to do on the final spin anymore.

Plus I am getting 3 new vintage machines in a few weeks and possibly a more modern Hotpoint to replace the Logic as the "workhorse everyday machine". That will be my lot for vintage washers as space is an issue because I don't want to get into a previous position I was in where there were way to many machines and no space.

Im getting a vintage Servis FL, A vintage Hotpoint FL and a Vintage Hotpoint TL. Thats my quoter now. 1 vintage machine of the 3 major brands back then plus 1 top loader.

And of course the 1 modernish machine for everyday use.

Mark

Hi Mark

That sounds fantastic, I would love to see pics when you have them.

I have a Hotpoint 18580 from about 1979. The motor is buggered so haven't seen it work yet but the armature should be with me in the next few days. When it's up and running I will do some pics.

Thanks Rob

I think 1 of each brand from back in the day is a perfect mix.Im very excited about getting them.I will of course do some pics.I should really start a new thread in the vintage forum.
I used to have a 18580.Its a fab machine and of course has all those great vintage Hotpoint sounds. Heres a pic of the one I had..The "glamour shot" although the fascia wasn't that good.
