Very interesting! Looks identical (with a few minor cosmetic changes of course) to the current SQ front-load washer. I'm guessing this was from the late-1990's? |

Amana/Speed Queen had that grav-ely looking backround on their control panels going all the way back to 1993 or so. We looked at a Speed Queen TL set before buying our WP set, and the control panel was similar. They even had a cool looking electronic control set at the time. |

David, I just let a brochure go with the similar vintage Amana pair (TL washer) that I sold last weekend. It showed the front loader and gave some info but didn't provide the detail of what you've posted above. My brochure had all washer types in it. If I had known you were seeking proof that Raytheon produced a front load Amana, I would have offered it to you. Looks like you've got what you need now. Ralph |

The stainless steel washer and dryer were going to be tall like the height of the pedestal mounted machines and have the controls on the front like a commercial machine to give the laundry room the "professional look." |
