2 loads in.....

And I'm more than impressed. Rinsing and spinning efficiency are exemplary compared with the Zanussi I previously had.

Pics and vids to follow later this evening/tomorrow.

I've not done any washing since a week last Saturday so theres plenty to go at from towels and bedding to woolly jumpers and silky stuff. So there will be media aplenty for your viewing people!... In the meantime another quick pic.

WOW!!! Now THAT is a beautiful sight!!! How on earth did you manage to get your hands on one of those?!! Is it officially available in Europe yet? Is it a 220v version? How much was it? TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME!!!!

Mark...

This model is available all over Europe as far as I am aware. Most of the major stores have them and if they dont have them on display they are usually happy to supply you with one. I got a very good deal on this machine coming in at a snippet under 800 of those great british pounds. some places sell this model for £1000+. If you look around there are alsorts of internet sites that offer these too at fairly reasonable prices.

Hang on one second.....is that a W4446 or suchlike I see before me??? Well, that'll teach me to go logging on bleary eyed for 'a quicky' before bed time!! For the last few minutes I thought I was staring down the porthole of a mega load 4840!! Apologies for that, but what the hell, its still a beauty!! Congrats again!!

Saj,

Thanks for that. Unfortunately, my confusion stems partly from the fact that it usually takes a bit longer for models such as this to trickle over to this side of the European union, and as such that particular model is not available here yet. Oh well...... Post some more pics and maybe a video or two to whet the appetite in the meantime!!

Saj - seems to be new toy season all round, what with Darren's New Wave, our dryer, and your new Miele!

Mine and mum's so far so good have truly been excellent machines, and have outshone all the other washing machines we've had. Excellent washing, rinsing and spinning results, performed quietly in an extremely high quality unit, in a not so bad cycle time and with a helluva lot of cycle flexibility... definitely makes laundry day even more of a pleasure.

They may be expensive, but they're well worth every penny IMO. Unless your one of those suckers who buys them at Comet or Currys for £1200 LOL.

Welcome to the club!

Jon

Congratulations. These are great machines, looks very space age.

I've had my Miele since Jan 99 and it still like new. No funny noises or yellowing.

Hope you have many happy hours with it.

Rob
