It seems that I remember a while back that there was a discussion about 3-speed motors. I vaguely remember having worked on one. Well, in the process of clearing out old motors, I came across a 3-speed motor. The three speeds are 1725, 1140, and 850. I don't know if the motor works, and it feels like the bearings are dried, but if anyone wants this motor, it's yours for the postage cost. It weighs 25 lbs, and my zip is 01104.

The post office has a couple of flat rate box's I think the motor would fit in. A flat rate box can ship for 8.10 or 8.05 (I cant remember which price) with contents up to 70 lbs.

Question about the motor.

What frame (or case type) is on this motor?

Here is a picture of the motor. There are four connections on the terminal board. My father has some notes on the frame, so it might be possible to figure out the connections.

Blackstone,...

Thanks for posting the pic. That's a "R" frame. And that is what I was looking for, so yes, I would like to get it from you. Time to work on postage, or I will PDF you a UPS label.

Joe
