It almost looks sad doesnt it? Kinda like "Somebody please take me home, I dont need much and ill work hard for you!"

Thanks Launderess for posting the great appliances. I really appreciate it every single time you do it.

thats hysterical! I'm sorry you're still lost in leaking appliance hell. I hate to laugh at your misfortune but when you put it like that well I can't help myself. You can always bring your laundry up to Boston, I have 5 dryers.

OK first of all the seller is completely wrong (like Al Franken says "LIES") about this entire auction. It's not a 1938-1939 Bendix, its a 1947-1950 Bendix. Second as to the picture of a real 1938 Bendix they obviously copied it right out of our "Vintage Fun Stuff" section. How do I know this, because I took those pictures with my very own camera while visiting John over in St. Paul! Third, its missing the entire front panel!

I recognized those pics you took of John's machine - hilarious sales pitch. Has anyone asked this seller where the lower panel is? The only redeeming factor is that if you had another machine you were restoring, you could possibly glean some parts from this one. What are the odds the tub bearings are still OK?

Through clever photography angling, you almost don't even notice the chunk of porcelain missing from the 2:00 position on the outside of the machine...

Pitiful in so many categories.

Well, the door handle is there, the soap chute looks pretty good, and there doesn't seem to be any chips in the drum. This looks like a wonderful parts donor!

you concur, I can just see the front panel way over to the right, it is a 1947 or later , you can see the script.

Peter it would make a good parts donor for $29.95 thats for sure.

In fact it would be worth it for the original door handle for
northwesty's machine which he just posted about bedside that nice Frigidaire dryer.

BENDEX?

Ok, I do not comment on this site very often,But I could not resist this one.If he did so much research on this machine why is he listing it as a BENDEX Da! Bendix is on the nameplate of the pictures that he used of my machine.I wrote to him to let him know and corrected his dates and so on and also wished him the best of luck.Lots of interesting stuff on site lately.Have a great Easter to all!

Bindex?

That wasn't the worst, wasn't there one advertised as a "Bindex" a while back?
