OK first of all the seller is completely wrong (like Al Franken says "LIES") about this entire auction. It's not a 1938-1939 Bendix, its a 1947-1950 Bendix. Second as to the picture of a real 1938 Bendix they obviously copied it right out of our "Vintage Fun Stuff" section. How do I know this, because I took those pictures with my very own camera while visiting John over in St. Paul! Third, its missing the entire front panel!

I recognized those pics you took of John's machine - hilarious sales pitch. Has anyone asked this seller where the lower panel is? The only redeeming factor is that if you had another machine you were restoring, you could possibly glean some parts from this one. What are the odds the tub bearings are still OK? Through clever photography angling, you almost don't even notice the chunk of porcelain missing from the 2:00 position on the outside of the machine... Pitiful in so many categories. |

you concur, I can just see the front panel way over to the right, it is a 1947 or later , you can see the script. Peter it would make a good parts donor for $29.95 thats for sure. In fact it would be worth it for the original door handle for northwesty's machine which he just posted about bedside that nice Frigidaire dryer. |
