What if you were to swap the timer and buttons from the 408 over to the lighted panel on the 808? Then the dryer would function the same, just with a different panel surround. I would have to look and see if there was a way to connect the light to the existing 408 wiring. I have always hoped to find a harvest gold 808 dryer but they just don't pop up when you want them to. Anyone out there with advice who have done these "head swaps" in the past??? Patrick |
