Here is a recent pickup. It came out of a 2nd floor apartment & the landlord told me he thought it had a main seal leak. He did not have anyone check it. I did not check it. This must be picked up ASAP. Price = FREE!!!! IT MUST GO QUICKLY BEFORE I SEND IT TO DIE.

last shot. The cabinet looks really nice on this machine.

Sounds like a bad spin seal which is STILL AVAILABLE ON REPAIRCLINIC. As for the procedure itself, it's not the most easy task to do if the machine doesn't want to cooperate (the tub nut can sometimes be a bitch to remove), but by no means the most difficult. IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH REPAIRING. SOMEONE SAVE IT!!!

This appears to be the nicest, rust free case that I've ever seen!

If it's been leaking a while, might also need bearings.

I take it nobody wants this? My scrap guy will be back in two weeks from yesterday. If anyone wants to save it, please email me & I'll hold onto it until it can be picked up. Otherwise.....C.....R.....U.....S.....H......E......R.....

Come on, let's go folks! Someone save it! There's bound to be someone who wants this, it's a FRIGIDAIRE after all.

I paid $100 for mine and it was in a lot worse cosmetic shape than this, not to mention the bad spin seal, and I still have it. I thought free finds were supposed to be enticing?!?!

If it ends up going to the Krusher, that means there shouldn't be ANY more posts where someone is bitching about not having a 1-18 and wanting one "so bad", etc...

I would l-o-v-e to have this, but I have no way to fetch it. Not a matter of no interest, it's a matter of transportation logistics and cost.

Glenn, I sent you an email about the shipping. It would definitely be a good project and wouldn't take much to get back in service again.

Your idea has potential ... but how to find somebody to crate the machine up??

Crating

Dadoes,

Try Ship Smart. They will box the machine up and place it on a pallet. Ship Smart 1-800-554-5574, fax- 831-661-4845. They will give you an estimate.

Ok. The washer has been saved by someone from the club. I wasn't here to meet that person, though. Would whoever picked up the washer please email me. I'd just like to know who it was, that's all.
