Wow this was an awesome find!!!
I was visting a friend in an mobile home park in the Backcountry, an older lady was having a yard sale so when i saw this i though wow what an old cool up-right dishwasher.
Well Surprise it turned out to be an old convertible Whirlpool washing machine in Sunny yellow !! It`s a model # LXB4900LO i would say it`s from the eraly 70`s ?? It must have been Whirlpools best for a portable it has 5 water levels,5 water temp combos the super Surgilator, and the Magic Mix Dispensor filter with a real large tube, there is a lever on the back to pull the wheels up or down or level on 4 legs hence the convertible logo Any info on this would be appreciated ??

trying (unsuccessfully), to find. So...did you buy it? The one I owned 20 years ago was avocado, and preformed just as well as the "full size" models. You'll enjoy it I'm sure.

That is a beauty. This is the basic style of WP's first portable washer. It's much older than you think because the yellow color went out in the mid 60s with turquoise & pink.
Happy Washing. Tom

Whirlpool conv. washer

Hey tom thanks for the info, I also thought that the machine was from the early to mid 60`s as that Sunny yellow color was short lived and was only used for a few years. I don`t know why but the color was just not popular it is an unusual color for sure John
