Cool...owned and used by Elton John himself!

Seems like an early electronic model. I always liked the TOL Electronic Amanas; was the best of both worlds. Slow agitator stroke with custom cycle options. I saw a newer electronic set on San Francisco Craigslist a while back...

Hey, all I can say is, it's better than buying one that was previously owned by Michael Jackson.

Though, I have never been able to understand the celebrity-obsession factor in the modern world. Elton John was & is a brilliant artist, highly talented, great voice, and to the extent he composes his own stuff, darn good at that too. As are many. The combination of being able to compose great songs *and* have a great singing voice is particularly rare; Michael Stipe and Bono also come to mind. And there is/was something to be said for getting a record contract and selling albums based on your songs, rather than on being able to look sexy or depraved on video as per the current trend.

Does that model do rhinestones & spandex?
Is there a cycle for those?
I doubt Elton would have the patience for all those options, the maid must have dealt with it.

Yea, I wonder if there's any rhinestones stuck in the lint filter or in the pump! Really though, do you think Elton John actually did his own laundry? I figure he had a housekeeper that washed his clothes for him, or even then, he may have had all his clothes cleaned at a dry cleaner.

Peter, I believe the Queen's English for that is "Whig", or was that just another party?

Great Amana set! Just for kicks, I think you should walk up to them and yell "You're rude, vile pigs!" in your best Brit accent and see how they react. :)
