Y'all might want to keep an eye out for a Food Network production titled "Kitchens of the Future" hosted by that Alton somebody guy. It has some footage of a promo for that late Fifties early sixties Frigidaire dishwasher with the rotating bar, some cute 30's footage (one with a very young Bette Davis!) of different demonstrations of dishwashing machines of the future including a couple that looked like the sink unit Apex I've seen on this site (that's the one Bette was loading). Interesting that even after Frigidaire got rid of that rotating bar spray arm the design of the upper rack with the big center cut-out to accommodate that bar, basically stayed the same

Unless Food Networks decides to re-air this episode in May or later, the air times shown are for April. Will keep Searching to see what else I can scavenge.--Laundry Shark CLICK HERE TO GO TO laundryshark's LINK |
