Jon, thank you for all the considerate panel shots. An interesting aesthetic color combination all over. Never knew this model existed. Does this have the Magic Heater for hot washes? Or was that a feature not for the custom model.

Interesting - I like the "P" symbol on the door handle - very subtle touch!!

it was a fun find thanks to Mark! he was on his game here!

No Bob this model did not have the magic heater. It really is just a gyramatic with a dryer attached, which for me makes it really cool.

will post the "pimped up" version after the after the detailing by Greg.

I love the look of it!
Where did you find it? Was it in a basement?
Do tell....

I love it, especially that pink trim and thank you for rescuing!! What's the background story on this baby?

What is the difference between a regular and an Economy Duomatic?

Some interior shots also please!

Hey Guys & Dolls

jetcone's profile picture
This machine was in the Original basement shoved over to the side. Abandoned for NorgeTags. It was installed when the house was built. A woman Mark works with happened to mention the machine as a Bendix and Mark being very well educated by SteveD hopped on the band wagon.
The woman was selling the house and so it would have gone out to the Krusher which she actually didn't want to see happen. But we all knew the "new" people would have hired piano movers and KRUNCH it would be a gonner!
She had bought the house 8 years ago from the Kermanskis (??) and they had used the machine from new since they built the house.
The owner was very sweet she was so relieved to see it come up out of the basement all 400 pounds of it! And she was so happy to learn it would be restored and not just tossed aside.
It was a win win situation all around!!
Especially the Cheesecake!
When I get it inside I'll take some nudie shots for everyone.

jon

Peter I'll check tomorrow

but I believe it is 6 min soak, 9 min wash.

It differs in that it doesn't have a 1)soak temp select
2)a water level selector and 3)a reset button combined with a seperate on-off button. 4 ) you only select hot or warm water.
On my TOL 58 you have cold, cool, warm & hot water selection.

So there are some differences.

I'll get back to you on the times.

How does one wear a heel that high WOW!

Thank you for the links all fun!

Terry, this is an electric model, I find the gas models a turn off because they actually have to have a lint filter. I think the electrics are way ahead on that score.

Mike I just love you period.
