Here's the link to the auction. The washer has the lint-filter equipped DD Surgilator (not the wide-base Dual-Action) which I thought was interesting in a KA machine.

Did early KA washers have light blue tubs? I know the agitators were a light blue or turquois.I thought the tubs were turquoise too.

OMG! This is one of the rare all-pushbutton KA sets!

I bought this washer and dryer pair when it first came out. Hated the washer, as the maximum amount of wash time that you could get on that rapid advance timer was 8 minutes. Forget about removing collar soil or any kind of heavy dirt! The dryer NEVER dried everything in the load. One towel, wash rag, pair of pants, etc would always be damp when the rest of the load was completely dry! Made them take it back and got the models above these. (the electronic touch controls) After going through 3 washers trying to get the electronic controls to work, I made them take them back and got a TOL set of Maytags that one of my x husbands is still using. I think I bought these like in maybe 1988 or maybe 1987.....can't remember. Mark
