This same question has been asked before but the thread is gone now. Just picked up a Maytag LAT 9356 with leaking center seal and bad bearings. I'd tackle that without too much hesitation but there appears to be oil sprayed around the inside of the cabinet. I don't see any place on the transmission that appears to be leaking oil, so help me out here, please. If I decide to repair this, is the center seal of such design that it's likely to fail again in the future?

Sam
