GE metal FilterFlo Pan, in anodized copper........used for the early models of FilterFlo, mainly between 1955 thru 1957. In 1957 GE changed the design slightly........

More Speed Queen........again, another item I had seen only in photos up to this point. Its a load indicator that was screwed on top of the agitator to help avoid overloading. Mostly found in Laundromats Im told.......

Jimmy, what a haul, especially the Hotpoint Duo-Load minibasket and the elusive Speed Queen filter. It is quite fun to see in operation as well, lots of water-slinging action. Were these from a closed-down former appliance/parts dealer?

I'm curious to see the machines as well. With these finds, a matching Duo-Load washer *should* be just around the corner!

Jimmy,

If you are interested in selling any of that stuff, I'd love a chance to buy the GE mini-basket and the GE filter pan.

Great finds Jimmy, I have never ever seen the Hotpoint DuoWash basket before, much less the actual machine. Now that would be a super cool find!

Great finds! The apartment complex I lived at in Phoenix, AZ had a coin laundry with the load-line caps on the agitators - I think I have the perforated-tub sales & service book and that was an option for a while. The filter-dispenser for the solid tub SQ is very cool looking - it's surprising how large they are with that dispenser well on top of the filter pan. Don S. used mine in his SQ washer for a while.

Hey Jimmy,

that's the agitator that we had in the Hotpoint washer that my family had when I was growing up. I think our machine was a '67 or '68 "Lady Executive". I still have the instruction manual. There was a round bleach dispenser that fit over the agitator and into the filter pan. There was a hole on the inside rim of the bleach dispenser and as the water pumped up the agitator shaft and into the filter pan, some would go through the hole in the bleach dispenser and dilute the bleach. As the volume of the diluted bleach mixture raised in the dispenser the back and forth motion of the agitator and filter pan would cause the bleach to spill out and into the wash tub. The only problem with that set-up was that it took the whole wash period to get all the bleach into the wash tub. Anyway, love all your finds and hope to see you soon.
Jim
