Yet another!

Id love to find the matching electric dryer for this one It also gets pump arthritis when it sets around...you have to give the pump a spin by hand to get the motor going at the begining of the season here in ohio because My garage isnt heated and I have to winterize the machines each year

I love all the Kenmores! I do remember looking at all the GE's in the stores when I was young and the BOL model was the only one that had no filtering system. Can't get more basic that that right!?!? Awesome older GE too!

Great collection, love the GE Tim! How about a shot of the inside of the '60 GE when you get a chance? Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Great washers and dryers Tim, they look stunning.

Tim, thanks. I have the same model GE hassock fan. The extra set of blades and the mini egg crate top in modern gray plastic sure set it above the run of the mill designs.

Tim,

Thank you for posting these pictures!

Was the Gold and White GE painted at any point or did you find it like that? I've seen one on this site, identical except where yours is gold, it's aluminum/metallic colored. Also, would you be able to tell us what the model # is? I'm betting it's a WA850T, but want to know for sure. Also, could we get a close-up of the dryer next to it?

Yeah, the early GE washer is cool. I just procured a match to that washer but this dryer I picked up is avacado green. I hope it turns out to work good. Haven't even put a pig tail on it yet to try it out.

Wow, that Kenmore pair looks great. What year is it, and does that washer have sud saver?

Thanks for showing us your nice stuff.
I love the GE with the elevated control panel AND SUDS!!!
Wonder if that was the same year Frigidaire raised the control tower, or thereabouts.

My mom's Kenmore that was a couple of years older than yours also had that same problem with Spray-n-Wash removing the paint from the control panel. I'm surprised to see that your models had the same thing happen as I figured they had resolved that issue with the advent of the black panels. In spite of the missing paint, that Kemore was by far the best machine my mom ever owned.

Nice collection, the Maytag in particular!
