My 1966 Whirlpool washer with suds saver is in need of the pot metal water outlet, when moving it today the neck and the suds return hose snapped off!
40 years of corrosion made the metal paper thin. My question is, where can I find one of these assemblies?

You should still be able to get that diverter valve from Whirlpool or your local parts store. It's a plastic replacement, but that will last forever.

Good luck -

The part number for the complete valve assembly without the solinoid is 285144, it lists for about $72.

Another Option

Of course, an alternative option would be to sell it to another club member who will nurse it back to health!

A SUDS SAVER Whirlpool--I wish we lived closer. I could come over and play!

Thanks! I wasn't sure if the part was still available. I'll check at my local parts house.
