I'm sitting here trying to figure how to NOT go to work today, My job is hauling scrap appliances to the shredder and on my load is this lady seems to work just fine. but the boss says she'll make a better toyota then a paper weight. damn I hate my job sometimes.

Take it home!

Try to sneak it off the truck and bring it home with you.

People just don't understand.

It's better off being a washer than a Toyota.

Thanks to the generosity of Jason Dumont, I have one of those----modified and now on steroids. A more modern 'Kenmo bolt-down!
With the Roto-Flex installed she becomes a "Vita-Mix"!

Lady K. with Roto Flex.

Oh take it home! You don't find many of those. If it still works, it is gold.

Good Luck,
James

Good for you for outing youself (lovingly said) "fabu-ass." That took courage on this site. *LOL*.

Now, if we could all find a way to use you as a resource
and SAVE THOSE WASHERS!

I'm sure your boss would rather have $50 in his pocket than the few bucks he'd get as scrap. Otherwise put it in the very back of the truck and drop it off at your house after you leave for the scrapyard.

go for it if you dont you will be sorry you can always get rid of it later.. its better than having regrets later

I'll go with Pumper's idea. Just drop it off at yer house and take the rest of it to the scrap. I'm sure that Maytag next to it would make a fine Prius.

You fought back and refused to crush hope!

Those machines were designed with a hopeful future in mind not the uncertain one we face nowadays!

Good for you!

If you don't have room for the whole machine, you can always decapitate it and save the control panel.

My gosh, that is exactly the machine I grew up with....I think either C or D were the most common cycles used.

I daresay that could also be "fabuluous LASS", as in, woman hear her roar.
Not all ladies have to shave their bXXX...
whoops!
I forgot, can't say that, this being a family site an' all.
Anywho - glad to see her saved!
I'm not sure Amananananantags should be recycled. Wouldn't it be better to bury them with a stake through their hearts?
