anyone out there have any leads on parts for amp maytags? seem my baby has a bad clutch i am trying to sort of rig something up but i think it would be best to find a new or really good used one... so any ideas? and well since the clutch was off i thought id change her oil and seals

another question.. has anyone ever tried to repair a clutch? what would be better to try and use to resurface the clutch cork or leather? im gonna try cork and see if that works but i think it maybe to thick....hum

Have you tried Larry at Modern, I bought some brand new cork style AMP clutch shoes there a while back? I used them in my AMP.

thanks i did track larry down and he says he hasnt had anything like that in 20 years oh well il a keep a lookin.. and in the mean time im gonna try making something out of either cork gasket material or maybe leather cant hurt to try
