Simplistic Dependability
Not much glamour and flash but a great turn over and effective washing from a machine that will last through many loads! Why can't we have that now? Basically if you want to by a decent mid priced agitator top loader in the U.S. you have a choice between a shredder known as whirlpool or a plastic G.E. with short, fast, fabric damaging strokes. What's that all about? What about that thumpa-thumpa-thumpa sound from the whirlies? Annoying to say the least! Gotta love big corporate America.

very very nice, Liam. i love the Maytag's stately, graceful agitation. and just in case any people new to Maytag were watching, i think the open lid or camera resting on machine was amplifying the spin sounds. machine sounds quieter in person. | ||

Yes it is much quieter in person. The camera wasn't resting on the machine but I used a very powerful stereo mic mounted on top of the camera, this is probably why the spin sounds so loud. It's too bad that YouTube has only mono sound! Liam | ||
