Well, over the weekend, I met up with Trainguy and Sharples. Sharples had a very nice haul.

I ended up scoring one piece of exactly what I've been looking for: 1976 Kenmore dryer. Though it is in like mint condition! Not a scratch on it. All that is missing is the center knob, which will be easy to obtain.

Now to find a matching washer, hehe.

And we got the 1-18 washer from Trainguy's place:

Mike, those machines will dry your clothes with the "Soft Heat" feature like no other dryer. Very Very nice. I hope you find the washer.

That is a very nice dryer - extremely flexible and in very good shape.

Is that a Custom Imperial washer? Love the lighted console!

Nice dryer. Looks like one right below Lady K. This one, I believe can be a bit "deceptive" or "misleading" Here Cotton/Sturdy, Perm Press, and touch-up are all high heat. Knit & Delicate settings are low heat and air is air. On the Lady K, Perm Press was Medium heat. It was the only dryer in the new center-dial style that had 3 drying temps. It largely had the "appearance" of the Lady K dryer, but not the Temps and LK also had Wrinkle Guard III.
