This is similar to my High school's 1000 supaspeed model before the hotpoint drums kicked into place. Wasn't sure of the year but it looks good for a 1250 spin model.

And before you ask I'm not going back to school lol for vids as it sounds horrid at 1000 spin (wm64 at 1200 pitch but louder) and intermits are only one tiny burst of 400 then stops distributes and goes into rinse.

Strange -

It's really strange, until I browsed around here I'd never realised that Creda made washing machines at all.

Creda cookers, ovens, hobs and tumble dryers were common enough in Ireland. But, I'd never realised they made washing machines. Although, I suppose it was logical enough given that they made tumble dryers :)

Do Creda still exist ?

I haven't seen them in appliance show rooms in recent years at all. Seems all the ovens and hobs here are continental thesedays i.e. Electroux, Zanussi, AEG, Scholtes, De Deitrich, Smeg, Hotpoint (kind of UKish), etc etc

Just haven't seen a whole lot of Creda recently.

Creda, Tricity and Jackson? seemed to dominate the cooking market here for years and years.

Creda

Creda(Indesit) are still around with washers, dryers and cookers in the UK see website. They have recently changed the cookers to be branded with the Hotpoint logo on as well as the Creda logo and the tumble dryers and washers are just branded Creda at the moment though who knows what will happen next.
