$1000 for THAT rust bucket?Wonder what the metal looks like under all that rust-could it be softened for the "Krusher"?Sad the machine is that bad for THAT price!hunt your swap shops-forget the rip-off artists on EBAY!You might be able to find a machine in that condition for free at the junkyard!

If there is one thing to save on that Hurst, it would be the lid because of the lint filter, otherwise pass it it up and wait for something better!

Thanks for the truth,Uni.I always write these jackasses (especialy the ones who say there's is rare and from the 50's when in fact the Maytag logo alone tells you it's from the mid 70's and you can see in broad daylight the step pad for the wringers!!!)who ask anywhere from $500 to $5000 for a machine that I wouldn't pay more than $50 for.

The hose has been chopped off, too--What a mess!

A THOUSAND DOLLARS--this dude is sniffin' glue. I got mine for $40, in truly excellent shape, and when I asked the warehouse people, "How much?" they looked guility asking for THAT!!!

Cleanmo wants the filter lid, and I still need the tiny post that holds the mirror-worthy chrome control dial to the timer. Anyone have that little guy?

Wishes for summer love from Mikey.
