Beautiful panel, Louis! That was very sweet of you Eddy - his favorite American washer. I have a couple of things to send out to Louis as well, but this summer has been so crazy with work, getting ready for the upcoming wash-in and the kitchen remodel that I've not had time to get any "little" things done at all! Oh, did I mention the 13-year old? No rest for the wicked!

You know, it's neat to see that even though the washer died, it can still bring the memories back just from the control panel! My Mom had one just like this and I know that Robert (Unimatic1140) has one in his basement! Good going! - Mike |

Thanks y'all! I'm really having fun playing with it. Whenevery I start a load of laundry in one of my machines I set an equivalent of the cycle on this control panel. I also have a video of the machine. It's indeed my favourite American washer, I liked Speed Queens from the beginning, especially the long stroke of the agi. IIRC Robert's machine went to a member in the South, not sure to whom. Yes, the dial is lit, I will look into that later. I already have an agitator, not a Speed Queen, but a Super Rotoswirl, an agitator that got me quite fascinated when I used a commercial Kenmore with one in a hotel I stayed for a while. Louis |
