Found this on Craig’s list. It was a store model and never used. Is this one of the “good” models from the early 90's or not?

Yes!

We had one like that, only with a white front panel. But I think the front panel is reversible.

Nothing we have had cleaned as good as that one. It's only moderate on the noise scale, not too loud, not that quiet, either. The one in the advert you have looks to be a MOL-TOL model.
The door was the most solid one I've ever felt on a DW. I wished we would have been able to take it with us when we moved. I am sure that 10 years later that thing is still running.

If I were in the bay area, I'd move on it!

I had this same modle as well. And Whirlcool is right, not too loud but not super quiet and it could clean everything and could hold so much. Still like the reverse loading Maytags better but this machine was very good

I also had the exact same model at the Linwood House in December 1992. Loud, yes, but not so loud like the on at Chase. And it blasted everything away. Too bad most DW quality has now gone to the dogs.

Those are the best racks, ever!!! My folks have a similar dishwasher. It will clean anything, and although it's loud enough to make itself heard, it's not offensive. I think this design is the best thing since Hobart mde Kitchenaid.

Great machine,
Dave

THOSE machines did have a ton of little jets in that pop-up tower. So much so I think the tower design didn't matter.
I hear from so many that all racks were always scrubbed clean.
