Hi, I found this mint condition Kitchenaid washing machine out at the curb down the street from where I live. The model is KAEW750VWH0 and the serial # CX0403125. Does anyone know what the approx age could be? I'm new at collecting but I'm familiar with repairing these Whirlpool style machines. Below is some pics I took. Thanks!

That looks like the model DaDoES has. This is a very early production model of the KA machine--notice it has the Hot wash/Warm rinse combo. that combo went bye-bye in the late 80s or early 90s to be supplanted with soley Warm/Warm as the only warm rinse option.

Mine is a KAWE760, bought in August or September 1991. A 750 would be a little older. Mine looks like the same machine (but in almond instead of white), same cycles/temps/variable water level, but says "Superba" and "Three Speed" on the left, "WhisperQuiet" on the right.

Check the serial number. The 2nd character (letter) is the code for year of manufacture. The 3rd/4th characters (numbers) are the week of the year. I'm not sure if these year codes are correct for KA. My serial number begins with CA, and 1990 manufacture would be reasonable for my purchase date in consideration of transport and warehouse time.

Y - 1988?
Z - 1989?
A - 1990
B - 1991
C - 1992
D - 1993
E - 1994
F - 1995
G - 1996
H = 1997
I - 1998
J - 1999

Thanks for the info Dadoes! I'm thinking it is a very early 90s model. I did run it through a complete cycle out in my driveway before it got dark and it runs perfect! I like the slower agitation it has compared to the Kenmore I used to have. I'm going to replace the motor coupling since it looks to be orginal.
