My best shot at translating the Portuguese text

Eggo es the only mini washer, compact and protable, that has an O3 (ozone) cycle, to disinfect your clothes. Ozone has a greater disinfecting power than liquid bleach, besides being a deodorizer. Designed to preserve knits, this miniwasher includes a protector for the most delicate clothes. Besides washing and rinsing clothes which need a differential care, such as delicates, intimate clothes, sport clothes, beach wear and baby clothes, the EGGO miniwasher has a softener rinse, allowing the use of softener in your rinse and deep rinse, which eliminates any detergent residue from clothes thorugh 3 rinses which penetrate deeply in the knits

The selling price of R$ 549 converts to about US$ 280, and it is available either in 127V or 220V, both for 60 Hz.

Avanti Eco-Egg Mini Washer

Hi Emilio,
The Egg shaped washers are made in china and sold under various brands. $40-$50 US would be a more realistic price. The link is the the Avanti branded model on sale at Amazon.com. I would say the Ozone is a great idea in a washer.

If it makes ozone, it must have some sort of device like the mercury light bulb that you cannot buy here anymore. This washer does not extract, does it? With those 4 little legs sticking out the bottom, it looks like something about to hatch. I work with some people that must have been hatched, not born. They are cold blooded and venomous.

Tomturbomatic, you are right, this washer does not spin, and it is cold fill only. It even comes with a round disk you have to place above the washer before unloading the wet (washed) clothes, to avoid splashing the washer controls with water. Not my kind of appliance!

Are they sold only by the dozen?

How much American 'scratch'? $280 why for that I could hatch a brand spankin new MOL computerized GE plastic washer.

I have to hand it to who ever rules the Roost at Avanti, they do come up with some creative designs.
I like the leopard print wallpaper and chrystal chandeliers decorating the hen house in the first picture. That clear counter is awesome.

I wonder if these come in colors or if one can use that Paz stuff to get the design you want.

Considering that it doesn't extract, it is small capacity, and other 'variables' that might affect its salability, I hope the company doesn't end up with egg on its face.

The whole egg thing is more of a chic thing don't you think?
