It is kind of confusing. If it was called Mr. America, all it would have is an on/off switch! |

Just mash in the button and turn the knob untill it stops? The cycle is set? I remember the "Blades-O-Water" term for the agitation. Considering how many of those things were around in the sixties, they sure did disappear in a hurry! |

I can't remember ever seeing one of these around here. But I didn't really make a point to check out my friends moms washers when I was a kid. (prolly just didn't think about doing it,I still thought automatic washer were kewl then!) It still seems like I would remember that attractive control panel. Perhaps they didn't sell too well around here. When I visit the used appliance stores around here it's always: GE Filter-Flo,Hotpoint,Kenmore/Whirlpool/and of course the center timer Maytags.Never see anything too "exotic". By the way, does anyone know that there was a real Lady Kenmore?? I remember reading about her in HS history class. She was from Europe, thats all I remember. Rick |
