I really wish we could have gone to Omaha for the Wash-In. So sorry we couldn't be there, but in the spirit of things I wanted to send out a couple of videos of our old Westinghouse TL in Portland, OR. Hope you enjoy!

Jon

I will be happy to post a picture when I get home. I'm sure these will be a good reminder of those old machines you remember. :-)

Very nice washer and dryer, this was in your house when you bought it? How fun to start out with a vintage machine! I've had fun with the couple of Westinghouse t/l washers I've found around here, they are so interesting to watch.

Wish you guys could have made it to Omaha as well - another time!

I really wanted to go to Omaha so badly! We fly standby and those flights were so oversold. There was just no way so we decided to get some work done in Portland instead.

Gansky, we are buying Tony's Aunt's old house that she basically abandoned. Inside was all of her junk but a few cool things. The Westinghouse pair that was rarely used, and old goldenrod GE electric stove from the 70's I'm guessing, and a late model GM Fridgedaire fridge. We also found a few old vaccuums (two Hoovers and an old Singer canister which works very well!) All of the appliances still have their manuals too! Anyways, yes it was a cool start of a collection. The washer and dryer run great and do a nice job too believe it or not.

I'm glad I could at least make some videos for you guys since I couldn't be there.

Jon
