What a great looking place!

Fantastic selection of Miele exhibits - well done Miele for having pride in your products and spending the time and money to exhibit them.

I only wish there were similar manufacturer museums in the UK for the likes of Hoover (oh to see a 1970's Matchbox again), Hotpoint (oh to be able to see a 1970 1600 for the first time and cast my eyes upon the mauve and violet delights of the 1828 Liberator again) and Servis (oh to see a Servis Selectronic and Compact Mk300 again).

The lack of such establishments speaks reams about UK plc - no real sense of history anymore - witness the scrapping of the British Airways heritage airliner collection at RAF Cosford earlier in the year.

I hope someone will say that I am wrong and confirm that such museums or stores exist - however small.

A thoroughly impressed by Miele
Paul
p.s love the look of the 429, which was on sale in the UK in 1969

Very nice find. Good to see the G19 laboratory washer again. I've used that machine for years.

Was it w429 or an other model... but I thought it was mieles best selling washer ever? Am I correct?
